hi,
using $_post or $_get method to get the value from textbox
for example

 1) when we use the post method

 <form method="post">
 <input type="text" name="txtName"/>
 ---
 </form>
 <? php
 $strName=$_post['txtName'];
 ?>

 2) when we use the get method

 <form method="get">
 <input type="text" name="txtName"/>
 ---
 </form>
 <? php
 $strName=$_get['txtName'];
 ?>
